Abstract
In this work, Cu–Cr–Zr–ZrB2 composites were prepared via in situ melt reaction, casting and aging treatment. The reinforcement involved both micro ZrB2 particulate, primary Cr particles and nano precipitates, formed by in-situ reactions in copper melt and specific aging, respectively. The effect of the two reinforcements on the mechanical properties, thermal stability and tribological behavior of the Cu–Cr–Zr–ZrB2 composites were investigated....
