Abstract
Ostruthin, isolated from Paramignya trimera , was used as a scaffold to design its alkyl triphenylphosphonium derivatives. With the optimal reaction conditions in hand, five alkyl triphenylphosphonium ostruthin derivatives ( 1 – 5 ) were synthesized.
