Abstract
A 58-year-old male was admitted for surgical removal of a right pelvic sarcoma. His medical history included a liposarcoma excised from his right thigh (15 years previous) and right elbow (4 years previous). Staging computed tomography (CT) and Fluorine-18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) scans in the month prior had revealed no sign of metastatic disease.
