Abstract
Introduction: Postoperative fluid collections (PoFC) are common complications after distal pancreatectomy. Symptoms related to PoFC include signs of infection, pain, dyspepsia and left-upper quadrant pressure sensation, although are more frequently asymptomatic radiological findings during post-operative routine controls.
