Abstract
In this month's issue of the Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia, Assawakawintip et al.1 described their experience at the Mayo Clinic concerning ischemic optic neuropathy (ION) after cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB).
