Abstract
Amblyopia is a neurodevelopmental disorder of the visual cortex arising from abnormal visual experience early in life. Amblyopia is a major cause of impaired vision in infants and young children (prevalence around 3.5%). There are different treatment options for amblyopia based on its severity and age of the patient. Traditional treatments include patching or occlusion of the dominant eye and pharmacological penalisation using Atropine (1%)....
