Abstract
The nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite was synthesized from Labeo Rohita fish scales by calcination of raw scales at temperatures ranges from 400 to 1000 °C. The synthesized powders were characterized using, X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric/differential thermal analyzer (TG–DTA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning and high-resolution transmission electron microscope and energy-dispersive X-ray analysis, respectively....
