Abstract
Chronic pancreatitis (CP) is characterized by progressive inflammation and fibrosis of the pancreas that eventually leads to pancreatic exocrine and endocrine insufficiency. Diabetes in the background of CP is very difficult to manage due to high glycemic variability and concomitant malabsorption.
