Abstract
Choroidal neovascularization is the leading causes of central vision loss in wet age-related macular degeneration (wAMD) patients. Smoking not only aggravates the incidence and severity of the choroidal neovascularization of wAMD, but also affects the clinical treatment, making the prognosis worse.
