Abstract

Background

Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is an autoimmune disease that may affect gastrointestinal tract, leading to malabsorption and malnutrition. Previous studies defined this complication with no widely accepted criteria. No thorough evaluations of sarcopenia are available.

Methods
