Abstract
The acute presentation of immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related hypophysitis can be indistinguishable from other forms of acute hypophysitis, and histology remains the diagnostic gold standard. The high recurrence rate necessitates long-term immunosuppressive therapy.
