Abstract
• ZnO/ZnCo 2 O 4 microspheres was synthesized by a MOF-templated route. • The response of the PdO-ZZCO sensor is 1.95 times that of the ZZCO-700 sensor. • The response of PdO-ZZCO MSs can reach 26.9 to 100 ppm formaldehyde at 139 °C. • The formaldehyde detection limit of PdO-ZZCO MSs sensor is as low as 200 ppb.
