Abstract
To prepare surfaces with stable anti-icing properties, square-column micro/nanocomposite structures were fabricated using wire-cut electrical discharge machining. Smooth and hydrophobic/superhydrophobic surfaces were tested for wettability and were subjected to mechanistic analysis.
