Abstract
Large amplitude, near-acoustic plasma waves have a temperature-dependent harmonic content and nonlinear frequency shifts. On cold plasmas, experiments show that fluid nonlinearities dominate, and the observed harmonic content is well predicted by a recent fluid analysis.
