Abstract
Cell survival following radiation therapy (RT) is critically modulated by multiple DNA damage response pathways including the p53 tumor suppressor, which promotes cell cycle arrest and/or apoptosis in the face of DNA damage. Murine Double Minute 2 (MDM2) targets p53 for degradation and suppresses its functions.
