Abstract
A chromized layer was prepared on the alloy surface of TiAl intermetallics through using double-glow plasma alloying. The surface morphology, microstructure, and phase composition of the chromized layer before and after oxidation were observed by scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction.
