Acute Syphilitic Posterior Placoid Chorioretinitis Misdiagnosed as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Associated Uveitis

Purpose: The authors report a case of a systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patient who suffered rapid loss of vision after being misdiagnosed as SLE associated uveitis and treated with glucocorticoid.
