Abstract
Cast magnesium alloy AZ31 was processed by equal channel angular pressing (ECAP); 1-8 passes were applied using different processing routes A, BC and C. Samples were cut from the extruded billet in the extrusion, transversal and normal directions. Micro-tensile tests were performed at room temperature with an initial strain rate of 1´10 -3 s -1 .
