Abstract
Vitamin D has been demonstrated to lessen proteinuria severity in chronic kidney disease (CKD). Compared with healthy populations, patients with CKD may have lower serum levels of 1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D (1,25-(OH)2 D) and 25-hydroxy vitamin D (25-(OH) D).
