Abstract
By using the well-established CALPHAD methodology, a cobalt-rich eutectic high-entropy alloy is designed and made for the system Al–Co–Cr–Fe–Ni. Microstructural studies show that the designed alloy has a dual FCC/BCC phase structure and is composed of nanostructured lamellar-irregular regions.
