Abstract
Purpose The Tofts and the extended Tofts models are the pharmacokinetic models commonly used in dynamic contrast‐enhanced MRI (DCE‐MRI) perfusion analysis, although they do not provide two important biological markers, namely, the plasma flow and the permeability‐surface area product.
