Abstract
A method to mediate biomineralization of electrospinning poly(L-lactide) (PLLA) fibrous membrane assisted by polydopamine (PDA) coating was developed to obtain enhanced osteoconductive activity. The biomineralization mechanism, surface composition, morphology and hydrophilicity of the original and modified PLLA fibrous membranes were characterized.
