Abstract
An efficient synthesis of biaryls using a Hiyama reaction between aryl iodides and aryltrialkoxysilanes in the presence of a diphenylphosphinomethylpolystyrene-supported palladium catalyst is described. The cross-coupling proceeds in the presence of only 0.1 mol % of supported palladium.
