Abstract
Thermal diffusivity is an important physical parameter for assessing thermal damage to granite. In this paper, hornblende granite and alkaline granite were subjected to cooling and heating cycles at different temperatures. The quenching cycles of hornblende granite are 1, 5, 10, 15 and 20 times between 250 °C and 650 °C.
