A 74-year-old man with a history of occupational asbestos exposure in a shipyard was diagnosed with lymphohistiocytoid mesothelioma (LHM). Systemic chemotherapy consisted of cisplatin, and pemetrexed was administered. After six courses of chemotherapy, multiple tumours had regressed.
