We have previously reported that chondroitin sulfate extracted from Sturgeon bone (CSSB) can alleviate the pain caused by osteoarthritis (OA) by reducing the expression of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and inflammatory factors (IL-1, TNF-α and PGE2).
