Abstract
A facile one-step co-precipitation approach was used in designing altered band gap energy nano SnO2 using stannous chloride dihydrate (SnCl2·2H2O) and dimethyl oxalate as precursors. Microstructure of the materials was elucidated by means of powder X-ray diffraction, selected area electron diffraction, and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy.
