Abstract
Hyperthyroidism during pregnancy is uncommon. Nonetheless, prompt identification and adequate management of hyperthyroidism in a pregnant woman is essential, because uncontrolled thyrotoxicosis significantly increases the risk of maternal and fetal complications.
