Gum acacia and sodium alginate were blended to synthesize highly efficient superadsorbent formed by grafting of poly(acrylic acid) (AA) used as monomer onto the hybrid of gum acacia and sodium alginate and the polymeric chains were crosslinked through N,N′-methylene bisacrylamide (MBA).
