Abstract
Applying Powell symmetrical technique to the Liu–Storey conjugate gradient method, a partially symmetrical Liu–Storey conjugate gradient method is proposed and extended to solve nonlinear monotone equations with convex constraints, which satisfies the sufficient descent condition without any line search.
