Abstract
We are currently building the PET/X scanner, which is a breast positron emission tomography (PET) scanner combined with a standard X-ray mammography system. The role for the PET/X scanner is to precisely measure changes in radiotracer uptake after an initial test dose of adjuvant or neoadjuvant therapy.
