The goal of the study was to determine whether endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided biliary drainage (EUS-BD) is comparable to conventional transpapillary stenting with endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in palliation of malignant distal biliary obstruction.
