Public Attitudes and Gender Policy Regimes: Coherence and Stability in Hard Times

Drawing upon data from the European Social Survey on public attitudes and social welfare, this paper analyzes the extent to which attitudes toward gender equality in work and family life vary among 13 countries which represent different welfare regimes.
