Abstract
A novel acetic acid/1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate (AA/[EMIM][Ac]) biphasic solvent system was adopted to alter the aggregation behavior of collagen molecules. Collagen aggregates (0.5 mg/mL) were investigated in the presence of AA/[EMIM][Ac] at various ratios (10:0 to 5:5).
