Abstract
Tubulo-interstitial fibrosis (TIF) is the common pathway in the chronic kidney disease (CKD). Epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is a major contributor to the TIF by the increased myofibroblasts. Renin-angiotensin system (RAS) is critical mediator on EMT in progressive CKD.
