A spectrum-resolved dual-color electrochemiluminescence (ECL) immunoassay was designed and implemented to simultaneously detect carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and alpha fetoprotein (AFP) with CdTe (λmax = 776 nm) and CdSe (λmax = 550 nm) nanocrystals (NCs) as ECL tags.
