Abstract
Forty-eight Min piglets at 7 days of age were randomly divided into two groups which were fed with 0% and 0.8% glutamine, respectively. Supplementation with 0.8% l-glutamine, the average daily gain (ADG) were significantly increased, and the concentrations of glutamine, glutamate, arginine and citrulline in plasma were significantly improved (P < .05).
