Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the chemical structure and biological activity of a pectic fraction isolated from the aerial parts of A. campestris L. subsp. maritima Arcangeli. The chemical and spectroscopic analyses of the pectic fraction (ACP-E10) demonstrated that ACP-E10 was composed of homogalacturonan (HG) (60%) and rhamnogalacturonan-I (RG-I) (29%) regions.
