Abstract
Two different types of commercial tannins, namely chestnut (a hydrolysable tannin) and mimosa (a condensed flavonoid tannin), were used with two different types of hardener, namely hexamine and glyoxal, to upgrade soy-based adhesives for bonding of wood particleboard.
