Abstract
Four new phenylpropanoids (1–4) along with ten known phenolics were isolated and purified from the roots of hairy fig (Ficus hirta Vahl.). Their structures were elucidated by the extensive spectroscopic analysis and chemical degradation. The anti-inflammatory activities of the purified compounds were evaluated.
