Abstract
A study examining the fatigue failure mechanism of self‐piercing riveted (SPR) joints between aluminum alloy 6111‐T4 and 5754‐O is presented in this paper. In particular, the high‐cycle fatigue behavior of the SPR joints in the lap‐shear configuration is characterized.
