Abstract
Background and Purpose Aberrant activation of the cyclin D1‐cyclin‐dependent kinase 4/6 (CDK4/6)‐Rb signalling pathway is common in oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). PD‐0332991, a highly specific inhibitor of CDK4/6, has potent antitumour activity against many types of cancer.
