The effect of insulin-like growth factor-I by insulin and glucagon was studied in primary calf hepatocyte cultures by detection the expression level of β-actin mRNA through competition polymerase chain reaction.The result indicated that the direct regulation of IGF-Ⅰ mRNA level of in hepatocyte was effected by insulin and glucagons,the IGF-Ⅰ mRNA level of in hepatocyte was up regulation by insulin,Glucagon is the opposite...
