Abstract
This paper presents an approach for study of gene expressions based on Markov chain theory. A mathematical model has been proposed to study the transcription of DNA into mRNA and translation of mRNA into Proteins. It is assumed that the DNA, mRNA and Proteins are states in the model and initial state of the system is known.
