Lanthanum Deposition in the Stomach: Usefulness of Scanning Electron Microscopy for Its Detection.

After having been treated with lanthanum carbonate administration for 4 years for hyperphosphatemia, a 75-year-old Japanese woman undergoing hemodialysis was diagnosed with lanthanum phosphate deposition in the stomach.
