Abstract
Benign pancreatic hyperenzymemia is a newly identified syndrome characterized by an abnormal increase in serum pancreatic enzymes in the absence of pancreatic disease. The hyperenzymemia can occur sporadically or in a familial form, and all of the pancreatic enzymes show elevations.
