Abstract
Pancreas-sparing duodenectomy (PSD) represents an alternative procedure to pancreatoduodenectomy (PD) for patients with duodenal neoplasms. The postoperative early and late complications of 21 patients who underwent PSD between 1992 and 2014 were compared with those of 44 patients with soft pancreatic parenchyma who underwent PD between 2009 and 2014.
