Abstract
The aim of this work was to study the in-plane dynamic impact behavior of double-walled aluminum honeycombs. The finite element model of double-walled aluminum honeycombs was established by Ansys/LS-DYNA. The influences of honeycomb cell wall thickness and impact velocity on the deformation mode and the plateau stress were analyzed.
