Abstract
The effect of Mo surface alloying on the high-temperature oxidation resistance of Ti-46.5Al-1.0V-2.5Cr(at%) was investigated.The results show that the high-temperature oxidation resistance of TiAl based alloy increases apparently after Mo surface alloying,which is due to the formation of a compact Ti-Al-Mo alloyed layer on the surface of TiAl based alloy,and the alloyed layer has favorable high-temperature oxidation...
