Abstract
To simulate the hydrophobic microstructure of cicada wing surface,a high speed precise micromilling machine was used to fabricate columnar microstructure arrays on aluminum alloy substrate.Microstructure,hydrophobicity and surface roughness of bionic specimen were investigated,and the hydrophobic mechanism of bionic specimen was analyzed.The results show that the columnar microstructure arrays can effectively improve the hydrophobic properties...
